Official teaser shot confirms imminent arrival of rakish Jaguar estate. Here’s all the details plus exclusive images and spy shots

Jaguar has given us our first look at the undisguised upcoming XF Sportbrake, releasing a top down teaser image of the new Jaguar estate to whet the appetite.

The XF Sportbrake is due to arrive later this year, offering improved practicality over the saloon thanks to its swollen luggage space. The top-down shot of the new Sportbrake also reveals the XF will be offered with a full-length fixed panoramic glass roof, which should go some way to making the cabin light and airy. The teaser picture gives little insight into the interior, but changes over the XF saloon should be minimal.

Derby is ‘game of the season’ – Herrera

Manchester United’s match against Manchester City in the Premier League on Thursday is “the game of the season” and will play a decisive role in both teams’ chances of finishing in the top four, midfielder Ander Herrera has said.

More than 100 wives and partners of police are protesting in Paris against attacks on police following the killing of an officer on the Champs Elysees.

The Angry Police Wives group is marching through the city two days after Xavier Jugele was shot twice in the head by criminal Karim Cheurfi.

At least seven people have died after an electric cable fell on fans watching a Manchester United match on TV in Nigeria, police say.

The high-tension cable fell on a crowded shack showing the Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht in the southern city of Calabar.
